  • Upon arrival to Quito, private transfer to your hotel.
  • Shared Colonial City Tour & Middle of the World. Visit the bustling streets and squares of the largest historical old town in the Americas, a multi-ethnic, artistic and cultural heritage destination. Later, visit the “Middle of the World” Monument (La Mitad del Mundo) situated at 0°0’0” latitude.
  • Visit the well-known indigenous market in Otavalo for an arts and crafts shopping adventure.
  • Visit Peguche, known for its weavers, visit a wind instruments workshop, and Cotacachi known for the manufacture of leather goods.
  • Visit to Magdalena community, home of Atahualpa the last Inca emperor. Enjoy a series of activities; horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking for you to try.
  • On the shared drive to Baños admire highest active volcano on Earth, Cotopaxi, while in Baños admire its beautiful scenery of waterfalls and vistas. Then drive south to Riobamba for overnight.
  • Go through Riobamba, with some of the most picturesque indigenous areas of the country. Take the Devil’s Nose train ride, continue your way south to the Ingapirca Ruins.
  • Take the City tour of Cuenca before driving to El Cajas National Park. This area is known for its beautiful landscapes with at least 200 lagoons, like the famous La Toreadora.
  • Flight from Quito to Guayaquil to Baltra, Galapagos Islands. Check into cruise and sail to Santa Cruise Island, your new home for the next 4 days.
  • See prehistoric iguanas, giant tortoises, exotic birds, plants, beautiful landscapes of volcanoes, lava cones, and magma flows. Swim and snorkel at any time of the year in the warm clear waters among tropical fish, manta rays, sea lions, swordfish, sea turtles and other marine wildlife.
  • Visit to Mosquera Islet – Mosquera: White sandy beach, large colony of sea lions.
  • Visit to North Seymour – North Seymour Island: Unique place for two types of frigate: magnificent and great; swallow-tailed gull, nesting colony of blue-footed boobies.
  • Visit to Santa Fe – Santa Fe Island: Santa Fe land iguana unique in Galapagos, Galapagos hawk, mockingbirds, sea lions.
  • South Plaza – Plazas: Large colony of sea lions, unique landscape of a cactus forest, land and marine iguanas, Nazca      and blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls.

(Sunday) Day 1:

USA to Quito flights

Private transfer upon arrival this evening to your hotel.

(Monday) Day 2:

(Tuesday) Day 3:

Otavalo Market & Magdelena Community.

Visit the well-known indigenous market in Otavalo for an arts and crafts shopping adventure.  Stop for lunch on your own account which will be recommended by your guide. Visit Peguche, known for its weavers, visit a wind instruments workshop, and Cotacachi known for the manufacture of leather goods. Next Arrive at Magdalena Community overnight at one of the community houses. Home of Atahualpa, the last of the Inca Emperors, Karanki Magdalena is at approximately 9,842 feet above sea level with a privileged location surrounded by valleys and lagoons

(Wednesday) Day 4:

Magdalena Karanki Community Train Ride & Salinas

The Magdalena Community has discovered a hidden mountain niche through a series of activities; horseback riding, mountain biking or hiking for you to try. Then drive, to Ibarra and catch the “Liberty Train,” landscapes provide a magical setting as you pass through mysterious tunnels, cross bridges spanning canyons and gullies, and admire a unique biodiversity. Then arrive in the Afro-Ecuadorian community of Salinas, well known for its agricultural activities. Head back to Quito.

(Thursday) Day 5:

Quito – Cotopaxi-Baños -Riobamba

On the shared drive to Baños admire highest active volcano on Earth, Cotopaxi, while in Baños admire its beautiful scenery of waterfalls and vistas. Then drive south to Riobamba for overnight.

(Friday) Day 6:

Riobamba – Devil’s Nose train ride – Ingapirca Ruins – Cuenca

Start your day with a drive through some of the most picturesque indigenous areas of the country. Take the Devil’s Nose train ride, continue your way south to the Ingapirca Ruins, then to Cuenca.

Saturday Day 7:

Cuenca – El Cajas National Park

City tour of Cuenca before driving to El Cajas National Park. This area is known for its beautiful landscapes with at least 200 lagoons, like the famous La Toreadora. After lunch on your own account, drive to Guayaquil.

(Sunday)Day 8:

Shared transfer to the airport and flight from Guayaquil to Baltra, Galapagos Islands

Check into cruise and sail to Santa Cruise Island.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guayaquil and continuing to Baltra Island. On arrival, Meet and greet and bus transfer to the port, check-in on board the M/V Coral II.

AM: Interpretation Center San Cristobal

Learn about the history of the islands, San Cristobal mockingbird.

PM: Check-out of the ship and take a shared transfer to airport.

Fly back to Quito via Guayaquil and transfer to your hotel.
