  • Visit to Baden – Baden, The former residence of the European nobility, with elegant spa resorts and Casinos.
  • Visit to Freudenstadt, one of the most scenic tourist routes in Germany.
  • Visit to Vogtsbauernhof, a fascinating open-air museum.
  • Visit to Freiburg. Overnight in a romantically hotel located in the Black Forest.
  • Tour to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance.
  • Depending on weather conditions, we will take the alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and immenstadt.
  • Visit to Füssen, a town known by its violinmaking industry and the closest transportation hub for Neuschwanstein castle.
  • Visit to Oberammegau.
  • Visit to Innsbruck in Austria.
  • Visit to Munich and its many attractions.
  • visit to Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber, one of the oldest and most romantic cities in Germany. including a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting,a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg.

(Thursday) Day 1: En route to Germany

International Flights – USA to Frankfurt

Overnight: En Route

 

(Friday ) Day 2: Frankfurt

Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure. Frankfurt is the financial and commercial heart of Germany, with a fascinating contrast between the modern and historic parts of the city.

Overnight: Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt City or similar.

 

(Saturday): Day 3 Frankfurt – Heidelberg – Baden- Baden

In the morning you travel to Heidelberg to visit the famous castle, followed by a tour of the historic city center. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. Then continue to Baden-Baden, the former summer residence of the European nobility and world famous for its elegant spa resorts. Another attraction is the casino, at the entrance of the Black Forest.

(Sunday ) Day 4: Baden-Baden – High Route through the Black Forest – Vogtsbauernhöfe – Freiburg

Travel to Freudenstadt via the high route through the Black Forest, one of the most scenic tourist routes in Germany. This route offers spectacular views of the Rhine valley and the Vosges Mountains in the background.

The drive includes stunning landscapes such as Mummel Lake. Visit the fascinating “Vogtsbauernhof” open-air museum, for an overview of the history and culture of the Black Forest. The authentic displays give a wonderful impression of the traditional architecture and economy of the Black Forest region. Then continue the tour to lovely

Freiburg and to accommodations

(Monday) Day 5: Freiburg – Breitnau

In the morning visit Freiburg, famous for its beautiful church tower. In the afternoon continue to the heart of the Black Forest, where we will have an authentic experience this night: Enjoy a typical Black Forest dinner and overnight in a romantically located hotel. If you like, take a little walk to the beautiful Ravenna Gorge or see the region’s oldest chapel, both are next to the hotel.

(Tuesday) Day 6: Black Forest – Lake Titisee – Lindau – Füssen

After breakfast we enjoy a short presentation on the cuckoo clock production. We continue to a small traditional Black Forest farm where we will have a cheese tasting and you will see the real Black Forest. After that we will travel to Lake Titisee, nestled in the legendary Black Forest and we continue the tour to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which offers spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions we will take the

Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to our final destination Füssen, the southernmost point on our tour of Romantic Germany.

(Wednesday) Day 7: Neuschwanstein – Wieskirche – Oberammergau – Linderhof – Innsbruck

We start the day with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. At midday we travel to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Along the way we visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing the tour to visit Linderhof Castle. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time. After a brief stop at the Ettal Benedictine Abbey we continue to our final destination, Innsbruck.

(Thursday) Day 8: Innsbruck – Munich

In the morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck (Austria), located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. In the afternoon we travel to Munich.

Overnight: Holiday Inn Munich City Centre or similar. (B)

 

(Friday) Day 9: Munich

After breakfast we visit the city’s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening you enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner.

(Saturday) Day 10: Munich – Rothenburg ob der Tauber – Frankfurt

After breakfast we travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town concluding with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg. Next we travel to Frankfurt. The program ends at Frankfurt airport, here you will check into your airport hotel with the evening at leisure.

Overnight: Airport Hotel to be advised. (B)

 

(Sunday): Day 11: Return home.

Walk / take the shuttle to the terminal and proceed to your flights home
