Drive a rental car during 7 days and 6 nights. Start and finish in Frankfurt stopping everyday in a different city.
- Arrival to Frankfurt where you will pick up your car.
- 2-hour walking city tour in Frankfurt (optional).
- Drive to Heidelberg. There you will have two hours walking tour (optional). If weather conditions allows it, take the scenic Schwarzwald Hochstrasse to Freudenstadt.
- Drive to Freiburg. Optional two hours walking tour.
- Next stop will be the small island of Lindau.
- Depending on weather conditions you can take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to your final destination Füssen.
- Drive to Innsbruck, enjoy this beautiful city in Austria.
- Drive to Munich. On the way you have the possibility to visit Linderhof Castle.
- Enjoy a two hours walking tour in Munich visiting city’s main attractions.
- Drive to Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
- Drive to Frankfurt to return your rental car at Frankfurt airport.

Day 1 Frankfurt
Arrival in Frankfurt and pick up your rental car at the airport.
Overnight: Movenpick Frankfurt City or similar.
Day 2 Frankfurt – Heidelberg – Freiburg (275 km)
2-hour walking city tour in Frankfurt (optional). Drive to Heidelberg. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. In Heidelberg 2-hour walking city tour (optional). If weather conditions allows it, take the scenic Schwarzwald Hochstrasse to Freudenstadt. Your next stop is Freiburg.

Day 3 Freiburg – Lake Titisee – Lindau – Füssen (275 km)
After breakfast 2-hour walking city tour of lovely Freiburg, famous for its beautiful church tower (optional). Next you travel to Lake Titisee, nestled in the legendary Black Forest. You continue to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which boasts spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions you can take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to your final destination Füssen.

Day 4 Neuschwanstein – Wieskirche – Oberammergau – Ettal – Garmisch-Partenkirchen (85 km)
Visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. In the afternoon drive to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Along the way you can visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing to the Ettal Benedictine Abbey. Today‘s final destination is Garmisch- Partenkirchen, Germany’s winter sports capital and site of the 1936 winter Olympics.

Day 5 Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Innsbruck – Linderhof – Munich (250 km)
In the morning you can drive to Innsbruck. Enjoy this nice city in Austria, located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. In the afternoon you drive to Munich, and on the way you have the possibility to visit Linderhof Castle. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria.

Day 6 Munich
After breakfast 2-hour walking city tour in Munich, were you’ll visit the city’s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower (optional). Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September.
