  • After arrival to Hotel in Frankfurt the rest of the day is free at your leisure to explore or stay at hotel.
  • Visit to beer cellar where they brew their own beer. Taste a Lager, a Dark or the seasonal Bock beer and enjoy a tasty German meal.
  • Visit to Heidelberg, including visit the famous castle ascending by cable car. Drive to the Abbey and Brewery the Klosterhof. After the tour through the brewery you can sample some of the different beers they create there. Time for lunch at the Restaurant Klosterhof (not included).
  • Visit to the Black Forest area, including a typical  dinner from the are and overnight in a romantically located hotel.
  • In the morning after breakfast a short presentation on the cuckoo clock production factory.
  • Visit to Lake Constance and visit to the famous Max & Moritz restaurant (Not included). after lunch we drive to the hops museums and learn about beer (tasting of three different beers included).
  • Visit to Füssen, the southernmost point on our tour of Germany.
  • Visit to Neusschwanstein Castle,Oberammergau and The abbey of Ettal. 400 hundred years of history  awaits you at the Ettal benedictine Abbey.
  • Sightseeing tour of Innsbruck in Austria. After lunch we travel to the biggest Monastery Brewery in Germany “the Monastery of Andechs”.
  • Visit to Munich and its city’s attractions, concluding this stage of the tour in the Marienzplatz.
  • Visit to Rothenburg ob der Tau, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities of this Tour around Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town concluding with a stop at the local butchery for a typical Bratwurst Semmel (fried sausage in a bun).

(Saturday) Day 1: International Flights – USA to Frankfurt

Overnight: En Route

 

(Sunday) Day 2: Frankfurt

Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure. Frankfurt is the financial and commercial heart of Germany, a city full of fascinating contrasts between modern development and historic landmarks. At 6:30 pm you will meet your guide in the lobby at the hotel and go to a beer cellar where they brew their own beer. Taste a Lager, a Dark or the seasonal Bock beer and enjoy a tasty German meal. Overnight: Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt City or similar. (D)

 

(Monday) Day 3:  Frankfurt – Heidelberg – Black Forest

In the morning we travel from Frankfurt to Heidelberg. Visit the famous castle ascending with the cable car and enjoy a sightseeing tour of its historic city center. Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. Drive to the Abbey and Brewery the Klosterhof. After the tour through the brewery you can sample some of the different beers they create there. Time for lunch at the Restaurant Klosterhof (not included). We continue to the famous Black Forest region. This night we will have an authentic experience: Enjoy a typical Black Forest dinner and overnight in a romantically located hotel.

(Tuesday) Day 4: Black Forest – Lake Constance – Füssen

After breakfast we enjoy a short presentation on the cuckoo clock production before we drive through the Black Forest to Lake Constance. Time for lunch at the unique Brewery and Restaurant Max & Moritz (not included) which offers spectacular views of the Lake and the Alps. After lunch we drive to the Hops museum in and learn about one of the most important ingredients of beer brewing (tasting of 3 different beers included). After the tour we drive to our final destination Füssen, the southernmost point on our tour of Romantic Germany. For Dinner we recommend a visit to the authentic Restaurant & Brewery Olivenbauer, famous for its home brewed craft beer and delicious meals (not included).

(Wednesday) Day 5: Neuschwanstein – Oberammergau – Innsbruck

We start the day with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “Mad King“. At midday we travel to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. We continue the tour to the Abbey of Ettal. Over 400 years of brewing history awaits you at the Ettal Benedictine Abbey. Visit the beer museum and taste the beer, which is up to this day brewed by the local monks. We continue to our final destination, Innsbruck. Overnight: Hotel Grauer Bär or similar. (B)

 

(Thursday) Day 6: Innsbruck – Munich

In the morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck (Austria), located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. After lunch we travel to the biggest Monastery Brewery in Germany “the Monastery of Andechs”. Learn about the history and brewing techniques on a tour through the brewery, after the visit we continue to Munich.

(Friday) Day 7: Munich

After breakfast we visit the city’s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. During this tour you will sample Bavarian specialties from the “Viktualienmarkt”. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. (Optional a guided visit to the world famous Hofbräuhaus) In the evening you enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner including 1 “Maß” (1 Liter) Beer.

(Saturday) Day 8: Munich – Rothenburg ob der Tauber – Frankfurt

After breakfast we travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town concluding with a stop at the local butchery for a typical Bratwurst Semmel (fried sausage in a bun). Next we travel to Frankfurt. The program ends at Frankfurt airport, here you will check into your airport hotel with the evening at leisure.

Overnight: Airport Hotel to be advised. (B)

 

(Sunday) Day 9: Walk / take the shuttle to the terminal and proceed to your flights home
