Discovering Zurich at your own pace during 4 days / 3 nights
- Upon arrival in Zurich, private transfer to Hotel.
- Enjoy a shared city tour of Zurich and surroundings.
- Continue to Adliswil and board a cable car to Felsenegg for a panoramic view of Zurich, the lake and snowcapped peaks of The Alps.
- Travel by ferry across lake Zurich and return to Zurick by bus.
- Travel by train from Zurich to Zermatt with a stop in Bern.
- Travel by cog railway to Gornergrat at an elevation of 10.100 ft.
- Return to Zurich by train.
- Private transfer to airport.
Day 1
Zurich
Upon arrival in Zurich, private transfer to your hotel. At 1pm enjoy a shared city tour of Zurich and surroundings. Discover the most beautiful corners of the city: the old town, the clock of the Church of St. Peter, the world famous Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai and the picturesque Guild houses. Then continue to Adliswil and board a cable car to Felsenegg for panoramic views over Zurich, the lake and the snowcapped peaks of the Alps. Then board the ferry across Lake Zurich and return to Zurich by bus. In the afternoon we recommend to visit the FIFA World Football Museum (optional).
Overnight: Hotel Krone Unterstrass or similar.
Day 2
Zurich – Bern – Zermatt
In the morning travel by train from Zurich to Zermatt with a stop in Bern. Zermatt is nestled at the foot of the mighty Mount Matterhorn. The picturesque town center is carefree and still preserves its original charm.
Overnight: Hotel Krone Alex or similar. (B)
Day 3
Zermatt – Gornergrat – Zermatt
Travel by cog railway to Gornergrat, at an elevation of 3.089 meters/10,100 ft. The view of the Matterhorn and the Swiss Alps is truly breathtaking. Return to Zermatt.
Overnight: Hotel Krone Alex or similar. (B)
Day 4
Zermatt – Zurich
Return to Zurich by train. The tour ends at the airport or train station and a private transfer to the airport. (B)
