Meet & Greet at Maun airport, scenic light aircraft transfer to Pom Pom Camp (approx. 25 minutes). Meet & Greet by your safari guide
at airstrip and short 10 minute drive to Pom Pom Camp & security briefing with welcome drink by camp manager.Time to unpack and
settle into your family tent. Before /during /after afternoon tea your guide will cover your safari itinerary and activities and present the
children with their young explorer kit. Naturally there is opportunity to change activities on a daily basis depending on your preference.

Activities on offer are morning, afternoon and night game drives, motorboat cruises (all year round) or family fishing expeditions (Mar –
Dec) and a mini-tracking expedition in a secured area. For safety reasons only children aged 12 and over can go on mokoros and game
walks which tend to be up to 2 hours. So that parents and children can get the most out of their safari and wilderness experience, during
these activities, guiding is done in a fun participatory and easy to understand way introducing the children to animal identification, tracking
and birding & animal calls. For the mini-tracking ‘expedition’ the guide will drive the family to an open and secure area to look for tracks
and birds and compare them to their explorer booklets. The content of the explorer kit will vary depending on availability of the items but
will include some of the following items: sling bag, lunch box & water bottle, activity book, explorer check-list, note pad and colouring
pencils. Back in the camp the children can use their newly-found knowledge when completing their activity books and bush quiz with their
guide and/or parents. For younger children, parents can request an early dinner option before they depart on their afternoon activity.

The guide will probably suggest a game drive as the evening activity, which will be done in a private vehicle in Pom Pom’s private
concession returning in time for a tasty 3-course dinner (choice of 2 main courses) which is usually served around 19.30/20.00 hrs. After
dinner the guide walks family to their tent. NB on safety: All guests get walked to and from their tents from sunset onwards as the camp
is unfenced and no guests are permitted to walk alone in the camp at night.

Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Check-in with welcome drink. During your stay you can enjoy 3 game drives (shared), 1 Chobe Sunset
boat cruise (shared) and 1 private boat cruise or fishing (2 hours).

get close to them is perfect for photography and game viewing. The banks of the Chobe River is home to some of the densest wildlife
populations in Africa, abounding with rich colourful birdlife and the likes of not only elephants but also lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes,
zebras, banded mongoose, hippos, waterbucks, puku, roans, elands, warthogs and crocodiles which can be uniquely viewed during the
