Gorilla Trekking Extension
4 days and 3 nights trekking on Rwanda, knows as the land of thousand hills.
- Arrival to Kigali, transfer to the Hotel.
- Enjoy a panoramic tour of Kigali and the memorial centre.
- Scenic drive to Gisenyi town. In the afternoon optional activities such as kayaking, canoeing an walking are available for an extra cost.
- Transfer to Kinigi at the foot hills of the Virungas volcanoes National park for your trekking expedition. Be sure to bring with you our carefully sorted packed breakfast box complete with enough energy to sustain the trekking trip.
- Boat Cruise at the Lake Kivu. aboard of this luxurious open boat you will have comfortable seats and chilled drinks of your choice.
- BBQ dinner set on Hotel Lwns.
- Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
Day 1: Kigali
On your arrival at Kigali International airport, you will met by our representatives and transfer to Kigali Serena for Overnight Stay.
Overnight: Kigali Serena Hotel
Day 2: Kigali / Lake Kivu
08:00hrs Depart for a panoramic tour of Kigali city and the Memorial Centre.
10:00hrs Depart and embark on a scenic drive to Gisenyi town to arrive at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel in the early afternoon and in time for lunch. (PM optional activities Like Kayaking, Canoeing and Walking are available on an additional cost)
Overnight: Lake Kivu Serena Hotel (B, L, D)
Day 3: Lake Kivu / Volcanoes National Park / Lake Kivu
5:00hrs Transfer to Kinigi at the foot hills of the “Virungas”, Volcanoes National Park for your Gorilla Trekking expedition! Carry with you our carefully sorted and packed breakfast box complete with sufficient energy giving food to sustain you throughout the trekking trip.
07:00hrs Briefing and allocation to a Gorilla Tracking Group. After the trek return to the base, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge for a shower and lunch.
After lunch, drive to Lake Kivu and arrive at Lake Kivu Serena.
16:00hrs Depart for a Boat cruise in the lake! Aboard our luxurious open boat complete with very comfortable seats and chilled drinks of your choice on board, Scenic views of the various islands within Lake Kivu and some panoramic views of Goma town. As the sun sets on the western side of the lake, sail back to the hotel to arrive in time to refresh for a Barbeque Dinner set on the hotel lawns

Day 4: Lake Kivu / Kigali / Depart
After breakfast, you drive to Kigali and arrive in time for lunch at Kigali Serena Hotel. After lunch, you will be transferred to Airport for your flight back home.
