  • After arrival to Tokyo Narita airport in  Japan you will be privately transferred to your downtown hotel .
  • Your first night  is just free to relax and get acquainted with your hotel and have dinner.
  • Private full day tour of Tokyo. Starting with the Imperial Palace, Tokyo National Museum, Harajuku  with its two parallel shopping streets and finally the guide will lead you to step on board a private yacht as we travel along the Tokyo Bay to enjoy a relaxing cruise.
  • Dinner at the Shima Restaurant Tokyo, one of the World’s best steakhouses.
  • Sceninc panoramic drive through Roppongi Hills, one of the best examples of a city within a city. The building complex features offices, apartments, shops, restaurants, hotel, art museum, observation deck, more.
  • Visit to Mori Museum. The exhibitions are focused mainly on contemporary culture, but the secret of the Mori Art Museum’s success is location, on the 52nd and 53rd floors of the Mori Tower, offering spectacular views.
  • Visit the world famous Shibuya crossing , the busiest intersection in the world. Later you will visit Harajuku Station. During weekends teenagers  come out in their eccentric clothes and try to make their statement of their youth and their lifestyle. Great to see them in their full display and grab a photo.
  • Visit the Tsukiji market, one of the world’s largest fish markets, handling over 2,000 tons of marine products per day. Tsukiji Market is expected to close and move to a new site in Toyosu in the near future due to the 2020 Olympics, so it will be a good opportunity to visit the original place before moving.
  • Visit the Meiji Shrine, dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shōken. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line’s busy Harajuku Station, Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city.
  • Visit the famous Robot Show and later the Robot restaurant. “Restaurant” is something of a misnomer when it comes to Tokyo’s Robot Restaurant. While you could eat there, the venue is not designed around eating, but light, color, with every surface fluorescent and polished to a mirror gloss, and a robot arena spectacular.
  • Dinner reservation at Yamato Restaurant, a wonderful Teppanyaki restaurant serving fresh sushi. You know you have come to the right place when most of the patrons are Tokyo locals. We will try to reserve you two seats at the counter as the Sushi chef’s entertain you also when making and cooking your dinner. In addition to Sushi, salads, vegetables, meats and wines, really good sake.
  • Take the Bullet Train to Hakone National Park. The Bullet Train is an unique experience like no other with speeds reaching up to 320 km/hr!. once arrived to Hakone you will be privately transferred to your accommodation inside Hakone Park.
  • During afternoon Self Explore Hakone National Park with your park pass and all your public transportation included.
  • Visit the Owaku-dani Valley.  It will surely take your breath away.  It’s not just the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, but also the rising volcanic gases that originate underneath the valley itself. There is an infinite amount of  steam pouring up through vents scattered around the mountain, and a very distinct odor that will remind you that you are indeed traversing a very live volcanic valley.
  • Next stop will be the MT. Komagatake Ropeway (Cable car). As the ropeway ascends, the scope and beauty of Ashi-no-ko (Lake Ashi), Hakone-gairinzan (Hakone Outer Rims) and Mt. Fuji become evident all around.
  • Take the Lake Ashi cruise. The best views of the area including the mountain peaks are from the cruise which takes about 30 minutes from one end of the lake to the other. Have your cameras ready.
  • Take the Bullet Train to Kyoto. Visit the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, The Philosopher’s path, Ginkakuji Temple and dinner at The Restaurant 245 .
  • Visit the Sanjūsangen-dō temple and The Kiyomizu-Dera temple. Receive some Japanesse calligraphy lessons, after a demonstration by an expert instructor, you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with brush strokes or paper-folding techniques, depending on which instruction you’ve selected.
  • Be Part of the traditional Tea Ceremony at Ochata Tea House. Most tourists would never get to experience this unique part of Japan’s culture. You have a special reservation for an authentic visit from a Geisha to serve you tea.
  • Visit the Tōdai-ji Temple, one of Japan’s most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara.
  • Take the Bullet Train and visit Hiroshima. You will have a private tour of the city, including the Peace Memorial Park, The Peace Memorial Museum and  Miyajima & Itsukushima Shrine.

Day 2. Fri. Tokyo.

After arrival to Tokyo Narita Airport, you will be privately transferred to your Hotel. After check in the rest of the day will be at your leisure. You can use this time to relax and get acquainted with your hotel and have dinner on your own at The Amman Hotel Tokyo.

Day 3. Sat. Tokyo.

Private full-day tour. Our first stop this morning by private driver and deluxe minivan vehicle, is the iconic Imperial Palace. The current Imperial Palace is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo, also a short walk from Tokyo Station. Then proceed to The Tokyo National Museum  which collects, houses, and displays a comprehensive collection of art works and antiquities from Japan as well as other Asian countries. Visit Harajuku with its split personality, two parallel shopping streets that cater to very different shoppers. Omotesando, known as Tokyo’s Champs-Elysees, is a tree lined avenue with upscale boutiques, cafes and several leading designer brand shops. Later, The guide will lead you to step on board a private yacht as we travel along the Tokyo Bay to enjoy a relaxing cruise. Finish your day with a reservation at the Shima Restaurant Tokyo, One of the best steakhouses in the world.

Day 4. Sun. Tokyo.

Day 5. Mon. Hakone National Park.

Take the Bullet Train to Hakone National Park. Day 6. Tue. Hakone National Park.

Full day self-explore the Park with your park pass which includes all your public transportation inside the park including the Lake Ashi cruise. Hakone has been one of Japan’s most popular hot spring resorts for centuries. Nowadays, more than a dozen springs provide hot spring water to the many bath houses and ryokan in the Hakone region. Yumoto, at the entrance to the Hakone area near Oduwara, is Hakone’s most famous hot spring with a particularly long history, high quality water and numerous baths and inns. Many more hot spring facilities are found across the hills and valleys of Hakone and along the shores of Lake Ashi. Also, you can visit Hakone Open Air Museum, Hakone Shrine and Hakone Barrier.

Day 7. Wed. Kyoto.

At the Odawara Train station, you will be delivered in time to meet the Shinkansen Hikari Bullet train to Kyoto with 1st class tickets. After arrival your guide  will drop you off for a quick lunch at a convenient place not far from your first afternoon appointment – The Imperial Palace in Kyoto. The Kyoto Imperial Palace used to be the residence of Japan’s Imperial Family until 1868, when the emperor and capital were moved from Kyoto to Tokyo. Later walk through The Philosopher’s path, a pleasant stone path walkway through the northern part of Kyoto’s Higashiyama district. The path follows a canal which is lined by hundreds of cherry trees. Usually in early April these trees explode with color, making this one of the city’s most popular hanami – cherry blossom viewing spots.  Continue to the Ginkakuji Temple a Zen temple along Kyoto’s eastern mountains (Higashiyama).  Finis your day with dinner reservation at the Restaurant 245-Kyoto.

Day 8. Thu. Kyoto.

Visit the Sanjūsangen-dō temple and The Kiyomizu-Dera temple. Sip a cup of green matcha tea while chatting with a maiko, and take part in ozashiki asobi (traditional parlor games). Once finished take a Private walking tour of Gion neighborhood this interesting but short walk through the old city of Kyoto brings us to the famous entertainment district where the Geisha and Maiko reside and work. Finish your day with Dinner reservations at Tempura Endo Yasaka.

Day 9. Fri. Nara.

After breakfast this morning you will meet your guide in the lobby of the hotel to begin your full day in suburbs of Kyoto and another town nearby called Nara. There you will enjoy a stunning experience with a walk through the Sagano Bamboo Grove. The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove is one of Kyoto’s top sights and for good reason: standing amid these soaring stalks of bamboo is like being in another world. From there we will continue to Togetsu Bridge, Arashiyama’s most iconic landmark. It was originally built during the Heian Period (794-1185) and most recently reconstructed in the 1930s. Visit the Tōdai-ji Temple, one of Japan’s most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara.  Later visit Nara – Kasuga Taisha Shrine: Kasuga Taisha is Nara’s most celebrated shrine. It was established at the same time as the capital and is dedicated to the deity responsible for the protection of the city. Finish your day in the famous Awata Sanso Restaurant.

 

Day 10. Sat. Kyoto.

Free day to explore at your leisure. Here some suggestions:

  • Machiya (Japanese Townhouses) Nice place to walk through this area
  • Handi Craft Centre & Antiques: “Japan’s and Kyoto’s Finest” are collected here, and if you want to make good memories for your own travels or share the travel with a friend or your family, please be sure to visit our shop.
  • Ask your concierge for Bamboo Product stores which is a specialty of Kyoto.

Day 11. Sun. Hiroshima.

Private guide and vehicle transfer to the train station, with your carry-on bags for the bullet train trip. You will make a short stop at Himeji. Once there you will be met on the platform and escorted to the Himeji Temple or to lunch first. Your guide will escort you on a walk to the Himeji Castle where you to enjoy a tour of the ancient castle. Himeji Castle is widely considered Japan’s most spectacular castle. Unlike many other Japanese castles, Himeji Castle was never destroyed in wars, earthquakes or fires and survives in its original form. Once finished take the Bullet Train to Hiroshima. Once in Hiroshimo check-in at the Hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 12. Mon. Hiroshima

Start your day visiting the Peace Memorial Park, one of the most prominent features of the city. Even visitors not looking for it will likely stumble upon the large park of over 120,000 square meters. Before the bomb, the area of what is now the Peace Park was the political and commercial heart of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the pilot’s target. Four years to the day after the bomb was dropped, it was decided that the area would not be redeveloped but instead devoted to peace memorial facilities. Continue to Peace Memorial Museum,  dedicated to documenting the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in World War II. Next, visit Miyajima & Itsukushima Shrine. The shrine is known worldwide for its iconic “floating” torii gate. The shrine and its torii gate are unique for being built over water, seemingly floating in the sea during high tide.

Day 13. Tue. Osaka.

Visit the Osaka Castle. The castle tower is surrounded by secondary citadels, gates, turrets, impressive stone walls and moats. The Nishinomaru Garden, encompassing the former “western citadel”, is a lawn garden with 600 cherry trees, a tea house, the former Osaka Guest House and nice views of the castle tower from below. Now it’s time to visit the Floating Garden Observatory at Umeda Sky Building, a spectacular high rise building in the Kita district of Osaka, near Osaka and Umeda Stations. It is also known as the “New Umeda City”.  The 173 meter tall building consists of two towers that are connected with each other by the “Floating Garden Observatory” on the 39th floor. The observatory offers great views of the city through its windows and from its open-air deck. Later, you will be transferred to the pier. Take the Aqualiner cruise around the Okawa River (former Yodo River). The bus goes around popular landmarks such as the red-brick Japan Mint in Osaka, a retro building of Osaka City, the Central Public Hall, and the symbol of Osaka, the Osaka Castle. Finish your day with reservations for dinner at Osaka Ginza Kyubey, voted one of the best 10 sushi restaurants in Kyoto.

Day 14. Wed.  Osaka/Tokyo/En Route.

You have your morning free to relax or to self-explore until 12:00pm. Later you will be transferred to Osaka downtown airport (Not Kansai Airport). When you arrive to Tokyo and loaded with tons of great memories take your flight to your final destination.
